When Red and Nola Washington and their family win $300 million they pack their clothes, furniture and their Aunt Girt, and move from their east side neighbourhood to the glitz and glamour of Beverley Hills. Trying to combine their 'grits and cornbread' lifestyle of old with their new 'champagne and caviar' neighbours, makes an interesting and hilarious cocktail of cultures. Things really heats up when Pam falls in love with her 'posh' neighbour creating a crazy casserole of laughs!
