- Synopsis:
- Amrinder Gill directs and stars in this Punjabi drama. Set at the turn of the 20th century, the film follows Challa (Gill) as he leaves his home in Kolkata and travels to the UK in search of work, accompanied by his friend Gama (Karamjit Anmol). Working with a group of fellow Punjabi immigrants in a sawmill, Challa faces difficult working conditions and growing hostility from the locals as he strives to provide for his family.
