Synopsis:
In a slum in Tokyo lives a small community of characters that hide problems and different human characteristics. Mrs. Okuni-san prays for his son Rokuchan, which has filled the house with childish mentality of primitive drawings of tramcars and driving through the village towards an imaginary tram chanting the onomatopoeic "dodes'ca Den-Den ... dodes'ca! ". Two workers, always drunk, they exchange their wives and women scandalize the fountain. The wise old Tamba-san pantry pills of intelligence to the thief that he goes to her house, the man who wants to commit suicide and what he wanders brandishing a sword.
Katsuko, a 15 year old is raped by her uncle and, reacting to the discovery that she is pregnant, it ends up endangering the life of the boy who loves her. A modest employee bears the harassment of a shrewish wife. A fat takes care of all her children with love, given to him by fans several of his wife. A homeless man lives with her son in a car carcass. Rokuchan records his invisible car in the store saying, "the car is old! But should treat it a bit 'better, those gentlemen will tell you tomorrow at the maintenance team."
