- Synopsis:
- Welcome to Hatley Station, a quiet little holt on a sleepy branch line. Life is good for acting stationmaster Jack Skinner (Paul Shane) and his staff. But everything is about to change. There's a new, efficient stationmaster on the way and the year is 1963. Doctor Beeching has just recommended the closure of thousands of rural railway stations - and Hatley Station may soon be nothing more than a fond memory.

Very funny how the people who are playing this show are so brilliant. They are so funny and so talented and so much fun to watch them play together and laugh about it every day and I love it so much for them being so good.
