- Requiem from the Darkness is a Japanese horror anthology TV series that takes place during the Edo period in Japan. Momosuke is a writer hoping to compose a book of ghost stories. He finds these stories come about when he encounters the mysterious detective trio known as the Ongyou. Based on the short stories of Natsuhiko Kyogoku's The Wicked and the Damned: A Hundred Tales of Karma.
