Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

Adolescent crap

(Edit) 17/09/2012

Unlike a previous reviewer who cried with laughter, I wept with despair.

What a laod of bloody childish rubbish!

Inglourious Basterds

Absolute Rubbish

(Edit) 11/06/2012

World War 2 was a matter of life and death to many people and not a bloody pantomime!

This film is an insult not only to the allied forces in Europe but also to many of the Germans.

Unfortunately, I would not be surprised should many credulous viewers actually believe this to be part of our history.

Syriana

Highly recommended

(Edit) 01/04/2007

This film re-inforced all of my prejudices about the CIA and the american oil business.

Great stuff! ...............but it needs total concentration to be aware of what is happening at any given moment.

I also suggest that having the sub-titles on is most helpful.

The Sorrow and the Pity

Self preservation

(Edit) 05/10/2011

This film of a community under enemy occupation is a salutary lesson in human behaviour.

I am old enough to remember how we British reacted approvingly to the news that those French people who had consorted with the Germans during the war had been metaphorically, if not literally, tarred and feathered by their compatriots at the cessation of hostilities.

The passage of time has made me realise that the fraternisation which had occurred in France could, so easily, have happened here.

I commend this documentary film as a realistic commentary upon the human condition.

I Love You Phillip Morris

Disappointed

(Edit) 05/10/2011

Maybe I have a short attention span but after 15 minutes I gave up.

"Outrageously Funny" "Hilarious" Whoever wrote that must have been smoking some very odd cigarettes. The descriptive word which leaps to my mind is puerile.
