Crime Traveller

Fun and worth seeing if you like this genre.

(Edit) 29/06/2020

I actually enjoyed this light hearted Time Travelling Detective series. I did like the clean open uncluttered set. It was fun and I must have missed it first time round on TV. The various plots and stories were reasonable. I am in my late sixtys but I think that that this would be suitable for any age

The special effects were on the light side but the story and characters held together.

The Nile Hilton Incident

True Vision of Systemic Corruption

(Edit) 06/11/2018

I have seen this Film and it is sickening. I did not like the lead character. It is the content is pretty bad but the acting was OK

The corruption was systemic and arranged by the families who you are supposed to trust..

I just do not want to see this film again.

Mark Felt

Never Going To Be A Blockbuster

(Edit) 06/11/2018

I thought that this film was too slow in tempo Lots of meandering shots giving the effect of isolation. This is really a snapshot of what a principled man has to go through when trying to keep impartial It is indeed atmospherical but there is no sense of Joy ,but hopelessness is rife. I think it is a hard watch. There is some good acting here. But this was never going to be a blockbuster movie.

The Godfather Trilogy

Godfather Trilogy Review

(Edit) 04/05/2018

I enjoyed all the films and I have seen them all many many times.

I read the original one Book by Mario Puzo which concerned the Godfather 1 and 2 both "The Past and the Present"

All the three Films are an art Form despite the brutality and corruption from the Corleon and their rivals and other so called law enforcer types.

Within The films them selves there are Beautiful and Moving Family Moments. Whenever there was a magic family moment The tapping of the crystal glass with a spoon and calling out in Italian "100 Years More"

Some great acting performances from all the leading players.

The only thing that has spoiled it for me is the aging of the of the film and one copy does look it has not been recorded very well.

I still heartily Recommend the whole Trilogy. Even if the last one is a little too neatly wrapped at the end.

Murder by Decree

Murder By Decree has Dark and Light Story-Line

(Edit) 09/01/2018

Murder By Decree is a warm, and by contrast has violent content connected with the searching of a Mother and Baby.

This is understated.

Although some of the content is appalling there are some great moments and an excellent cast which contribute to a Light and Dark story-line.

I have to confess my favourite bit is when Sherlock is summoned to government chamber with the Home Secretary, and Prime Minister and the Commissioner of police being chastised BY Sherlock and the conversations that run through is nothing short of Magnificent.

The is a well thought out Film and entirely absorbing.

Any Sherlock Holmes Fan should be satisfied with this. Enjoy !!!
