In December 1970, Richard Nixon is President of the United States and Elvis Presley has made a come-back. Both are isolated, out of touch in their own little world and very much in the public eye.
Nixon's aides decide it would be good for his image with the young people of America to meet with Presley, and Nixon is thrilled to hear that Presley wants to join the war on drugs. Farley finally catches up with Presley and Bobby and is swept along to the White House where Elvis meets with the President of the United States. They laugh, they sing, they have refreshments. Who knew?
