Rent My Soul to Take (2010)

A terrifying tale of the Riverton Ripper who, legend has it, swore he would return to murder the seven children born on the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath come back to take his revenge? Did he survive the night he was left for dead? Or has he been reincarnated as one of the seven teens? Only one of the seven has the answer, but if they hope to save their friends they must face an evil that won't rest.

My Soul to Take review by Shatner's Bassoon

Yet another teen horror.

I was looking forward to seeing Wes Craven's first horror film since 2005. While it isn't terrible, it's yet another teen horror in which a killer picks of a group of teens and if written and directed by someone lesser known then it could pass off as an ok movie, but from someone like Wes Craven it's a real let down. Aside from the generic 'killer back from the dead' storyline, it's not scary, gory, thrilling and packed full of really dumb plotholes. The only half decent thing about the movie was a better than average cast, especially Max Thieriot as 'Bug', aside from that it was a instantly forgettable hour and a half.
