Documentary about the Warsaw Uprising which took place in 1944 during the Second World War. In an attempt to free their capital from the Nazis, the Polish rebelled against German forces, managing to hold out for 63 days. Despite being only ten miles away, Stalin's Red Army delayed their approach, failing to aid the Polish. Over the years the citizens of Warsaw have rebuilt their city to its former state.
