A chaotic film set and ten minutes of unpleasant flashing lights. The best thing about this film is its brevity.

It has been said that little or nothing happens in the films of Andrei Tarkovsky. Should you watch "Vendredi Soir", you will realise that this is unjust. The films of the Russian director, compared to this film, are full of interest and vitality. A traffic jam, a one-night stand, nothing else. No conversation, no ideas, not even interesting photography. Only tedium, and a growing resentment.

Perhaps the worst film I have ever seen.  You realise just how good most other films are when you watch twenty minutes of this one - which is all I could take. 

I have given it one star because I had to rate the film before I could write this review.
