The actors are youngsters and the script depicts them all as full of childish petulance. It’s a teen movie for adolescents. There are no mature time served actors anywhere. I nearly didn’t get past 10 minutes as it was so cringeworthy.

There are some cinematically good moments particularly later on, but the movie in no way compares with the first two Alien movies all those years ago.
