Dom Hemingway

Utter rubbish

(Edit) 14/12/2016

I have to agree with the first review of this. Foul mouthed and not in the least bit funny. Vastly over rated film with E.Grant in particular giving a very wooden performance. Avoid

The Wee Man

A wee Gem

(Edit) 13/12/2016

A gritty piece of story telling about one of Scotland's notorious gangsters, Paul Ferris. Although a violent man, he was a gangster with a conscience and a bit of compassion who naively believed that loyality counted for everything in the underworld. A very enjoyable film and well woth the time spent watching it. Lot's of aggressive uses of the 'C' word though so be warned.

The Long Goodbye

Gould is Outstanding

(Edit) 05/10/2016

Eliot Gould makes this film: Excellent performance as Marlow. Story can get a bit confusing but the star is Gould who makes watching this fine film very entertaining and enjoyable. Also watch out for a brief appearance of Big Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of the thugs!!! Highly reccommended.

The Theory of Everything

Very moving, but....

(Edit) 08/08/2016

simply not scientific enough for me. Would love to have learned more about Hawkins the Scientist rather than the disabled man. But deeply touching never the less
