I have to report that I was disappointed by a DVD that you had sent me. I have had no issue with the quality of the discs you have sent before, but on this occasion I have felt it necessary to complain.

You had sent me, as I requested, a DVD of "Carry On Columbus". However, it appears that the disc sent was a bootleg/pirate copy. To start with, there was no copyright notifications printed on the physical disc - most studios have this information printed around the outside edge of the disc.

When I played the disc, my suspicions were confirmed. The original film is in 1.85:1 ratio but what was on the disc was a zoomed in (and very grainy) 4:3 picture - not even of broadcast standard for a mainstream TV viewing, as many characters faces were badly cropped out of the picture, etc.

I have returned the disc to you, and I hope you can get me a copy of the film in it's correct ratio and of viewable quality.
