- The Christmas specials from both 1983 and 1985 in which the vets come home from the war to a land and a lifestyle about to change forever. James (Christopher Timothy)'s return to domestic life doesn't run too smoothly, as unable to open up to Helen (Carol Drinkwater) about his feelings, he ends up taking his anger out on Jimmy (Oliver Wilson).
