Charly Antolini's International Jazz Power (2002)

Charly Antolini can super-impose such complex rhythms that it's sometimes hard to believe that you are only listening to one drummer. Nevertheless, a swinging rhythm is an absolute must for him, and his guiding principle is as he says himself "to express something with every beat". With the international line-up of his JAZZ POWER project at the 2002 Hot Jazz Festival, he triumphantly proved once again that he is one of the best drummers in the world.
