- Synopsis:
- George and Mildred is a British comedy series about the lives of a middle aged married couple and their friends and family. The series follows George (Brian Murphy) and Mildred Roper (Yootha Joyce), a middle aged couple who are forced to move and find themselves living next to the Fourmile's, a conservative family with whole George develops a hatred of the father Jeffrey (Norman Eshley). While Mildred tries to fit in she finds it hard when George often ruins all her well laid out plans with either his laziness or his direct nature.
