Their detective agency as busy as ever, retired literature professor Harry Wild (Jane Seymour, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) and her wise-cracking young partner, Fergus Reid (Rohan Nedd, Whitstable Pearl), struggle to balance work and life. With Harry's help, Fergus plans to contest the custody claim of his long-absent mother for his little sister. Meanwhile, Harry meets a charming fellow PI and starts falling for him, even though she finds him utterly infuriating. This time out they're hired to investigate the apparent suicide of a boy band's lead singer, a disturbing death in a busy restaurant, the on-set killing of a TV director, and the strange demise of a mystery writer in a locked room. Closer to home, Harry's friend needs help when her estranged husband dies in her pond, and later the whole gang must solve a murder while being held hostage.
