Agastya Nanda stars as Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal in this Hindi-language biographical drama directed by Sriram Raghavan. In 1971 at the age of 21, Khetarpal joined the Poona Horse regiment in the Armoured Corps of the Indian Army and was thrust into battle during the 1971 India-Pakistan War. During the Battle of Basantar the courage he displayed earned him India's highest military honour, the Param Vir Chakra. 30 years later, his father Brigadier Madan Lal Khetarpal (Dharmendra) meets Pakistani Brigadier Jaan Mohammad Nisar (Jaideep Ahlawat), who has a long-held secret to share. The cast also includes Sikander Kher, Vivaan Shah and Simar Bhatia.
