La Boîte à Musique De Jean-François Zygel: Vol.1 (2007)
Pianist and composer, Jean-François Zygel regularly improvises in concert, for silent film, theater or dance (Théâtre du Châtelet, Forum des Images, Opéra Bastille, Avignon Festival, Auditorium de Lyon, Louvre Museum, Orsay) As well as for radio (France Musique) and television (Mezzo, France 2). In the company of the Radio-France Philharmonic Orchestra, he presents the works of the great repertoire every month at the Salle Pleyel or the Salle Olivier Messiaen of the Maison de la Radio. He is also responsible for a weekly public and live broadcast, "Le cabaret classique by Jean-François Zygel", broadcast on France Musique on Sunday from 18h to 19h. He created in 2006 for France 2 and Mezzo a series of programs entitled "La Boîte à musique by Jean-François Zygel" devoted to the great composers. It can also be found on video in the "The Music Lesson" (already published: Mozart, Chopin, Faure, Ravel, Bartók, Debussy, Mendelssohn, Franck, Shostakovich) and in "Les Clefs de l ' Orchester Philharmonique de Radio France (already published: Symphonie no. 103 by Haydn) or in his solo improvisation record (issue: autumn 2007). Jean-François Zygel is professor of writing and improvisation at the Conservatoire de Paris. In 2006 he won a Victory of Classical Music.
