- Synopsis:
In a Sicilian country, Pietrammare, punctual as legal time, comes the time of the election for the choice of the new mayor. For years he has raged over the country Gaetano Patane (Tony Sperandeo), a mayor Managione and ready to use all the weapons of politics to create consensus around himself. he is opposed by Pierpaolo Natoli (Vincenzo Amato), a fifty-year-old professor, supported by a civic list and by a small group of activists. Our two heroes save and Valentino (Picone) are lined up on opposite sides: the clever save offers his services to Patane', given winning in all the polls, while the white Valentino takes to the field alongside the outsider Natoli to which it is linked, as otherwise save, from a bond of kinship as a brother-in-law.
