Rent Midsomer Murders: Series 8: Midsomer Rhapsody (2005)

The murder of former schoolteacher Arthur Leggott (Nicholas Amer) in his own home brings Barnaby (John Nettles) and Scott (John Hopkins) to Badger's Drift to investigate. The detectives soon discover that Joan Alder, the late composer of Midsomer Rhapsody, may be a key figure in this case. Could the killer be on the trail of an undiscovered musical manuscript? As the detectives investigate, they discover that there are plenty of wounds left by Joan's death many years earlier. Was her husband, Michael Maybury (Oliver Cotton), responsible?
