Rent Out of Town (1978 - 1981)

Out of Town is a British documentary series about the lifestyle of people before the internet and the advent of modern technology. The series, presented by Jack Hargreaves, depicts life before technology as it looks at the traditions of yesteryear highlighting the destruction of docile rural traditions in favour of the hustle and bustle of modern urban living. The series looks at farming, fishing and other countryside activities and how in time they have begun to erode thanks to technology.
