Paquito D'Rivera: Improvise (2010)

Cuban clarinetist Paquito D'Rivera performs live with the WDR Big Band and jazz singer Fay Claassen. Among the pieces performed is 'Piece For Paquito', an orchestral work written by conductor Michael Abene especially for D'Rivera, which is performed here by the WDR Big Band accompanied by the 77-piece WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne. The film also includes interviews with Paquito D'Rivera and Fay Claassen.
