- Synopsis:
It's the mid 60's in the picturesque Cotswolds village of Great Slaughter and the social calendar is full. There's the Christmas Pantomime, the annual Scarecrow Festival, a surprise birthday ceilidh and of course the Quincentennial Celebrations. What could possibly go wrong? Plenty! The cast of Cinderella drop like flies, a killer scarecrow stalks the streets, a bucking bronco goes haywire, a femme fatale zip lines to her death on the set of Foxman, the local women call a general strike and to top it all the police embark on something called "Team Building". After all that, Sister Boniface (Lorna Watson) is grateful for a wholesome weekend away with the sisters, but even then, she is confronted by murder, with a smattering of nudity! Meanwhile Reverend Mother Adrian (Carolyn Pickles) is keeping a secret; the fate of their beloved St. Vincent's Convent hangs in the balance... - Actors:
