Rent War in the Air / War in Europe (2000)

Two programmes looking back at the campaigns of the Second World War. 'The War in the Air' outlines the many theatres of war, where air power was used as one of the key weapons: the fighter battles, the mass bombing raids, flying bombs, reconnaissance and much more. 'The War in Europe' looks at the war that ravaged Europe. For the first three years Germany dominated the continent,followed by the long road back; when the allies went on the offensive and fought to free every inch of occupied Europe.
