- Synopsis:
- Ashok (Joy Mukherjee) is a wannabe author who gets sidetracked into becoming the manager of a tea plantation. The job is one thing, but he is in for a real surprise when he meets the plantation owner's daughter Asha (Asha Parekh), a young woman who is not only beautiful, but also spoiled, strong-willed and antagonistic. Relations between Asha and Ashok get off to a bad start, but their fighting might just be a way of hiding deeper emotions, and with Asha's pet elephant Manju on hand to help out, they're sure to have a lot of fun either way.
