Alien Rising

Dreadful doesn't even begin to describe it

(Edit) 26/04/2018

Didn't even bother to watch after 15 minutes - marginally better than an old "B" movie, the acting is wooden and the plot even worse.

Like something a teenager threw together with a movie camera.

The Hangover 2

Don't bother!

(Edit) 31/03/2014

Some people must have a strange sense of what is "funny".

Just as the first one, it would be more amusing nailing a hand to the table than wasting time watching such peurile rubbish.

Monsters

Try to stay awake

(Edit) 29/11/2013

Never have I sat through such a load of tripe as I (tried) to make any sense of this film.

"Watching paint dry" would be more entertaining by far.

2001: A Space Travesty

If you like Leslie Nielsen...........

(Edit) 05/01/2013

.............don't think this is up to the standard of his previous films - it falls way short of them.

Funny to a degree, but apart from Neilsen the acting is second-rate to say the least.

War Horse

Expect better of Spielberg

(Edit) 27/11/2012

O.K it's for kids.

The violence of the Great War is much too dumbed down and it's a bit like "Black Beauty goes to war".

Some of the scenes take a little believing. Good special effects, though.

I had hoped for better than this from all the hype over it, but I'm left very disappointed.

Ashes to Ashes: Series 1

Thoroughly enjoyable

(Edit) 07/12/2011

.....with a bit of mystery, a bit of a Sci-Fi element, with great humour thrown in and showing policing how it still should be.

Not suitable for "P.C" folk or bunny-huggers - much too much like real life!
