An enjoyable film even having watched it before. A more unusual storyline - had me laughing in places and yet sad at the anguish of those facing very difficult decisions, Convincing acting all round.

predictable outcome but the excellent acting, especially from the kids, was amazing in itself. A great production of a difficult subject which still manages to be enjoyable without being too heart wrenching!

The film could have been good if it weren't for the 'past their sell by date' actors. If you've followed the Brigid Jones stories then you sort of wanted to know how they would conclude but this just lacked genuine vitality and fun - all a bit laboured - excuse the pun!

Some very good acting and interesting from a historical point in that I for one wasn't aware of the different inter racial laws between states.

I found the whole story rather drawn out to the point it became a bit boring - as someone else said it could have been shorter but worth seeing all the same.
