Returning home after an eight year absence, Hung plans to join the Sun Moon Sect in an attempt to overthrow the reigning Manchurian Ching Dynasty and restore justice to the downtrodden Han people. Hot headed and rebellious, Hung idolises local hero and Sun Moon leader, Red Dragon, who is plotting to assassinate the Ching Emperor. Hung sets up his own martial arts school to further his cause, acting against his parents' wishes. But when his family is slaughtered at the hands off the Manchurians, he vows bloody revenge.
