In 1999, Jonny Lang was indeed 18 years old when he made his debut appearance at the Montreux Festival. He had already released three albums: A self released titled Smokin' followed by his major label debut and sophomore platinum albums Lie To Me and Wander This World. This set features songs from the two most recent albums. It captures his trademark, ferocious blues guitar and vocal work which he delivers with stunning maturity and undeniable emotion. It is with early performances such as this that Jonny Lang, still only in his 20's, has built a remarkable and venerable career.
