- Synopsis:
- Way out in the backwaters of rural Japan a strange fire-making festival is held once every ten years. Durng this ancient rite, a legendary sword must be cleansed with the blood of a living virgin, instead of the usual splash of water. The superstitious villagers kidnap a modern woman from Tokyo (who unfortunately happens to be the daughter of the police chief) to be the 99th sacrifice, but they are enraged to discover that she's anything but a virgin.
