In this retelling of the classic Greek myth, Tiresia is a beautiful Brazilian transsexual, living illegally with her brother in Paris. Coveted by Terranova, a poet and an aesthete, he likens her to the perfect rose and so kidnaps her to keep as his own. Deprived of her daily hormones, Tiresia reverts before Terranova's very eyes. Angered by his helplessness he blinds her and leaves her for dead in the countryside. Discovered and cared for by a country girl, Tiresia develops a gift for premonition and is persecuted by the parish priest as a result.
A tragic story about a transsexual Brazilian man living in France as a prostitute - played by a woman in the beginning and a rather well endowed man later. He's kidnapped and kept imprisoned so he slowly gets more male characteristics when not being able to take his medication. Before his release his captor makes a violent attack that will change both their lives.
