My Life as a Courgette

A delight

(Edit) 20/11/2017

Unsure at the beginning, but a real delight. Kids enjoyed it, although they were originally confused by shape of people in it. Surprised it only lasted an hour, but I've watched plenty of films that could have easily lost an hour.

The Exception

So so

(Edit) 20/11/2017

A bit unbelievable and not that gripping. Did feel abit like watching a stage play, heres one scene, now here's another. However Christopher Plummer and Eddie Marsan were good.

Kong: Skull Island

Better than I thought

(Edit) 13/11/2017

It was daft, very USA at times, thank God for Tom Hiddleston to make it a little less annoying. CGI was so so, Kong was pretty good. It's the first Kong film I've seen and was surprised that I really enjoyed it. Scenery was fantastic and an extra showed that a lot of It was real, scenery that is. Watch till the very end credits.

Wonder Woman

Girl Power

(Edit) 07/11/2017

Found the film to be abit of breath of fresh air to have a leading lady (hence the film title). It did at times go a little bit generic superhero and a little over CGI, but considering the last superhero film I saw was Logan, then that's not a good comparison. Trying not to give anything away, there are many similarities between this and the first Captain America film, just framed 20 or so years earlier. But did enjoy and enjoyed spotting the many Brits in it.

Steve Jobs

What a nasty man

(Edit) 07/11/2017

I didn't know much about Steve Jobs, apart from his products. What a heartless bully he was. Story wasn't great or that gripping, but enjoyed the insight into him and Apple. However, fantastic acting by everyone, hence my mark. With lesser actors/actresses this would have been a 2 or 1 start film.
