No Time to Die

A fitting end.

(Edit) 24/01/2022

Trying not to read too much into this, but it reminded my of Casino Royale in a way, and all the better for that.

Prescient and not overly showy, the outgoing Bond meets the incoming 00 as well as losing something dear.

PC? Nope - I'm not some old git who thinks like the past.

Terminator: Dark Fate

A fitting last hurrah methinks

(Edit) 20/01/2022

Great to see old and new together.

More in the feel of the original than the other over zealous over hyped movies.

Flood

Utterly and completely dreadful.

(Edit) 15/04/2018

Don't waste your time.

Carboard helicopter landing was the eject button. Wooden and forced, almost like a bad 70's TV series.

Jason Bourne

Ummm.

(Edit) 05/02/2018

The end of Bourne ... he should have died. This is a decrepit 'last chance' to rehash more of the same. Not utterly devoid of believability except in 90% of the movie.

Kubo and the Two Strings

Wonderful

(Edit) 05/02/2018

Odd when you know how good an animation is, with the family silent for the duration - their normal attention span is 30 minutes.

Laika nails another - beautiful and with a profound message.
