It started off so well, but then just seemed to drag on. Supposed to be exploring a very emotional topic, but, in the end, it just got a bit boring. 

May be others will enjoy it.  See it if you feel you must. Everyone is different

This film started off really promising and we were engaged for the first hour, but then really could have just tuned it off. Another film that just dragged on unnecessarily and could have finished much sooner. 

We really enjoyed watching this feel good film. Certainly worth a watch for something to lift your spirits. 

Clearly this film is a bit like marmite: both loved and hated. Watch it with an open mind and hopefully it will transport you off where it is supposed to. It has funny moments and is also incredibly sad. My partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Much better than a lot of the shallow  American trash we watch. Seemed much more deep and meaningful, even if some people see the story as far fetched. Fantastic acting. 

Was so bored both my partner and I gave up after 30 minutes. This doesn't often happen! There seemed nothing to engage one. 

I'll give this 3 stars as we both enjoyed it, but at the end were left questioning what we had actually watched. What was the point? What was if meant to be about? Wouldn't bother watching it again and didn't feel like we wasted time watching it, but don't expect to take anything away from it.

Excellent early music rendition of this Monteverdi masterpiece. Captivating performance taken from the stage to the small screen. Beautiful music. It was wonderful to have the musicians coming on the stage as if part of the stage cast to seamlessly be part of the whole effect. Will be watching again.
