Eva (Maria Schell) and Stefan (Hardy Krüger) loved each other, were happy, although they lived very poorly. Eva worked as a statistician at a film studio. Director Frank Tornau (O.W. Fischer) became interested in the fate of Eva and decided to make a film about her life. The main role in it will be played by Eva herself. The work on the film and especially the attention of the director captivated the young woman so much that her former life and Stefan's love became a burden to her. In the final scene, Eva should show that terrible hour of her life when she temporarily lost Stefan. Eva plays very sincerely, she again experiences these terrible moments, and suddenly, seeing Stefan in the crowd, she clearly realizes that she truly loves only him and, despite poverty, she will be happy only with him ... - Actors:
