What do family, school, friends, and police mean to a delinquent girl? This is the story of the days ana nights experienced by an unbalanced junior nigh school student, neither adult nor child. A brutal, hard-hitting documentary drama where pent-up energy explodes as she seeks an escape from ner oppressive and confined situation! A junior high school where delinquents from a certain region run wild, and an ordinary junior high school student in faraway Tokyo. This masterpiece, portraying the daily lives of these two characters, whose mutual ties are impossible, is portrayed from a dry perspective throughout, often using long takes.
Released at the height of the delinquent boom, it was a huge hit. The lead role is boldly played by Namie Takada, a hardcore amateur delinquent. Her unabashed, confident, and realistic performance is shocking. The role of an ordinary junior high school girl in Tokyo is played by Kazumi Kawai, whose popularity was on the rise, further drawing the viewer into the film's world.
