Join us as we travel through some of England's finest countryside from Bridgnorth in the north to Oxford, city of dreaming spires in the south. Our rail journey passes through the heart of it all with preserved steam lines, inter-city trains, modern turbo units plus the only inland cliff railway. Our journey starts on the historical Severn Valley Railway following the course of the River Severn through Arley and Bewdley to Kidderminster. Next we travel on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway as trains pass through honey-coloured villages in the Cotswolds on to Cheltenham where the line ends. The next part of the journey takes us along the course of the Evenlode Valley passing through Moreton-in-Marsh on the Cotswold Line and then on to the Didcot Heritage Centre, home to a unique collection of Great Western Railway steam engines, coaches, buildings and other relics. The journey terminates at the university city of Oxford with its many magnificent historical buildings.
