- At the start of World War I, seriously wounded soldier Gabriel Ferraud (Louis Peres) is selected to participate in a top-secret French army research program aimed at creating a new kind of fighter. After being injected with a serum of mysterious origin, Gabriel is given unprecedented abilities. Now stronger, faster, and more resilient than a normal human, he joins an elite unit of augmented soldiers: the Sentinels. But he is soon confronted with a terrifying reality that threatens to change the fate of the war.
