- Synopsis:
- A young man (Giancarlo Giannini) returns to the seaside mansion where, as a child, he witnessed his father kill a woman. Haunted by memories of sadomasochistic games and murder, he begins to doubt his sanity and the trust of his friends. The directorial debut of iconic screenwriter Ernesto Gastaldi (The Horrible Dr Hitchcock, Torso), this gothic psychosexual thriller is a distinctive proto-giallo based on a story by Gastaldi's wife and muse Mara Maryl, who also stars.
