Rent Morecambe and Wise (1968 - 2001)

Morcambe and Wise is a cult British comedy series that acted as both a sketch comedy and a sitcom depending on the episode. The show follows comedians Eric Morcambe and Ernie Wise as they created comedy by mocking everyday tasks and jobs. Sometimes the episodes act like a sitcom as Morcambe and Wise play different characters in the story. The series uses conventional comedy setups to tell unusual jokes and also uses the classic sitcom staging to emulate as well as mock the sitcomes that had come before it.
