- Roswell, New Mexico is an American science fiction TV series based on the book series Roswell High by Melinda Metz. The show centers around Liz Ortecho, played by Jeanine Mason, who is the daughter of undocumented immigrants who has an alien son. While they try to keep aliens a secret, a violent attack leads to a tense situation of fear, politics, and a war of humans versus aliens.
