- An old, much loved and respected music teacher lives in a little West Indian village. He is known by various names, such as Simeon (Jean-Claude Duverger), Mad Simeon, Wise Simeon and Simeon the Artist. His pupil Isidore, a fantastic guitarist, is actually a mechanic by trade. They both share a crazy dream, which is to create a new type of West Indian music that will become as widely known as jazz or reggae...In short, they want to conquer the world in Creole!
