Collection of short comedy films featuring Mabel Normand and with a newly commissioned score by The Meg Morley Trio. In 'Mabel's Blunder' (1914), office girl Mabel is engaged to her boss's son, Harry (Harry McCoy), but everything unravels when Harry's father and Mabel's boss (Charles Bennett) also develops feelings for Mabel. In 'Mabel's Dramatic Career' (1913) Mabel's romantic interest, Mack (Mack Sennett), has his attention diverted towards another woman, whom his mother (Alice Davenport) deems more suitable for his social standing. When Mack sees his mother's former kitchen maid, Mabel, now stepping out into the spotlight in a new acting career, he is overwhelmed with shock. In 'His Trysting Place' (1914) Clarence (Charlie Chaplin) ventures out to the shop to buy a bottle of milk for his and Mabel's baby. Meanwhile, Ambrose (Mack Swain) leaves his boarding house to deliver a love letter on behalf of a woman. When the two men later meet at a restaurant, they accidentally leave with each other's coats and chaos ensues when their wives discover the contents of their pockets. Finally, in 'Should Men Walk Home?' (1927) Mabel and Creighton Hale star as a jewel-thieving duo who crash a high-society party to see what the can get their hands on. - Actors:
