- When Neil Walsh (Paul Nicholas) a likeable young wheeler-dealer and reckless charmer, is declared bankrupt he determines to bounce straight back. But banned from running a company and barred from having a bank account, making a living - let alone a killing - is not going to be easy. Fighting for survival in a man's world Neil must rely on the women in his life - Sheila (Phyliss Logan) his disenchanted wife and Janet Summers (Geraldine Alexander) the court appointed trustee who scrutinizes his financial affairs. To succeed in his money -spinning ventures Neil needs help from them both. But is his charm any match for their feminine guile and canny business sense?
