Synopsis:
All thirteen episodes from the third series of the gritty, influential British police television drama. Regan (John Thaw) and Carter (Dennis Waterman), elite cops serving on the Met's Flying Squad, bring a no-holds-barred approach to their police work, taking on underworld villains with violent results. In this series the duo have to deal with a personal vendetta, go undercover to investigate possible police corruption, and foil a bank robbery being plotted by two ex-cons.

1. Selected Target
Regan is convinced that two recently released villains, Oates and Kibber, are planning a bank job despite Oates' apparent kidnap and murder.
2. In from the Cold
When a policeman is crippled by a vicious criminal, Regan feels responsible and longs to meet the gunman again.
3. Visiting Fireman
A bombing campaign in the city leads Regan to discover that he has more in common with a Turkish police officer than an interest in football.
4. Tomorrow Man
Regan has always disliked the computer approach to solving crime. But what happens when a systems' expert designs a programme for revenge?
5. Taste of Fear
When the Shaw family is viciously attacked by a couple of army deserters, Regan and Carter move to flush them out with the help of Hargreaves, the new recruit.
6. Bad Apple
Regan and Carter are seconded by Haskins to assist in an inquiry into allegations of corruption against detectives Huke and Perraut.
7. May
"He'd have stitched me up, just like they did with Dad before. I mean, I'm Bobby Holmes' boy...I've got to be guilty. Right?".
8. Sweet Smell of Succession
At the funeral of Joe Castle, one of London's biggest villains, a wreath bears a card reading "In loving memory of my father, Steven". Joe Castle had an heir after all.
9. Down to You, Brother
"So all in all Jack...you boobed. Hundred and fifty grand I pulled on that little number - thanks to you, Jack. It's all down to you, brother".
10. Pay Off
"R.I.P. Eddie Glass". Or is he alive, well and living in Stoke Newington? And how will that affect George Carter's friendship with Eddie's old flame?
11. Loving Arms
Regan must find the source of "cowboy" guns that are flooding the market before more lives are lost.
12. Lady Luck
"You spend months slouching around drinking with social vermin, mortgaging your lives for a pension. But every now and then I feel I really deserve it when something nice, clean and unexpected lands in my lap".
13. On the Run
Convicted armed robber Tim Cook has been sprung from jail. Now he's gunning for the man who put him there - Regan.
