Really enjoyed this movie. Yes, the making is a bit cheap and cheerful and it's full of clichés but it's worth for Christoph Sanders heartwarming performance alone and I'm a sucker for a happy ending ??. PS no subtitles which might make it difficult for some to watch.

One of the best movies I've seen in a long, long while. Christian Bale is outstanding. I thought about it for days afterwards. The redemption and humility of the story line will stay for you for a long while as well.

Great movie, Sophia Loren convincingly plays the role of a mother trying to bring down a drug baron to save her son. A bit dated now as it was filmed over 30 years ago but worth for Sophia's performance alone.

Loved this move, amazing performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Forest Whitaker (in fact the whole cast is spot on). I've always had a thing for boxing so this obviously helped but it's the sort of movie that draws you in whether you're into boxing or not. Cried my eyes out as well. All I can say is, rent it and watch it !!!!
