The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst

Genuinely disturbing documentary

(Edit) 13/12/2018

One of the best documentaries I've watched. Genuinely disturbing in a low key way.

Intelligent and thought provoking, I was kept guessing right up to the last minutes of the film - was Bob capable of the murders of 3 people including his first wife and his best friend Susan Bermann? Could this innocuous and frail guy be capable of such heinous crimes - a jury found him not guilty of one murder but was he actually guilty of 3 murders? Or was he just incredibly unlucky for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

You won't be disappointed if you invest 6hrs of your time to watch this incredibly well produced documentary..strongly recommend.

Don't waste your time

(Edit) 13/12/2018

What a complete waste of time..pointless and farcical. Totally not scary, mostly ridiculous and I just wanted to switch it off because it was so boring. Am struggling to write about the plot because it was utterly forgettable...yawn yawn. I usually love dark gothic dramas but this was so poorly executed that I turned it off before I wasted any more of my life! Don't bother to watch this film unless you're trying to bore yourself to sleep lol.

Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool

Loved this film

(Edit) 13/12/2018

What a gorgeous film about the sexual chemistry between a younger guy and an older woman.

The chemistry between the two lead actors was palpable..their chemistry made the film for me.

Not a lot of plot but this was overcome by the fabulous acting of Annette Benning and Jamie Bell...they were fantastic in this film and absolutely achieved the essence of the troubled relationship by portraying the characters genuine love for each other with such conviction and passion.

Loved this film.

don't bother

terrible film..don't waste your time watching it..flimsy plot which doesn't add up..terrible acting from credible actors so therefore the script must have been pants.
