- Total digital surveillance of humans will ensure a life without crime in the near future, but also completely without anonymity and privacy. Until a series of cruel murders call detective Sal Frieland (Clive Owen) on the plan. After all, suddenly the data collected in the “ether” is systematically manipulated, which could lead to the collapse of the entire system. It is only with the emergence of a mysterious young woman (Amanda Seyfried) without a digital fingerprint that the investigation is moving, which will soon become a life-threatening race against time for Frieland...

Interesting but under-powered - Anon review by Alphaville
An interesting film but lacking in drama. It’s slow-paced with too many repetitive scenes of men in grey suits talking in monotones in colourless rooms. The narrative stalls in places and the unconvincing ending comes out of nowhere. But the well-presented premise, together with occasional striking scenes, will certainly keep you watching.
